What is collagen?
Collagen is a substance that builds the foundation for parts of your body, but our supply naturally starts to decline as we age (from around the age of 30 onwards). Our bodies can make their own supply of collagen by breaking down amino acids (these are a combination of carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen) that build proteins such as collagen in the body. However, once you reach your 30s, your natural supply of collagen begins depleting, so you need to take in more either through your diet or via collagen supplements. Take control of the beautiful ageing process and supplement your daily routine with the collagen your skin needs.
